Using MPSK identity, IoT traffic can be directed either locally to an upstream access switch with a designated VLAN tag or tunneled to a Juniper Mist Edge located in the data center for secure transmission to the application server. In either case, the traffic is kept separate from the rest of the network, ensuring isolation.
By leveraging the Juniper Mist cloud-based WxLAN policy framework, administrators can apply network policy restrictions to client devices based on their PSK role. This enables IT admins to effortlessly grant IoT devices access to essential resources while preventing them from accessing any other resources.
Streamline Day 2 operations on a large scale by automating the expiration of PSKs. With a straightforward and efficient key migration approach, IT can regularly rotate PSKs without causing any service disruptions for onsite personnel.
IoT Assurance offers complete visibility at the organizational level, allowing IT administrators to have a clear overview of active devices associated with each PSK. It enables effortless tracking of currently active client devices on a specific PSK, and also provides the ability to display the top PSKs based on the count of active clients at present.
